How do I print a worksheet for an activity or assignment?

Use the print button on your browser to print what you see on the screen. If you see a PDF button on the screen, click on it to launch Adobe Acrobat and display a form or worksheet. Then click on the "print" button in Acrobat to print the form or worksheet.

There are many ways that you can find out what educational standards are addressed on Team Lycopene. One way is to click on the "Educational Standards" button on any of the Teacher Resources pages. This will take you to a listing of the educational standards addressed in the website. Also, educational standards are presented specific to each activity or lesson. When you choose a lesson, scroll toward the bottom of that document to see which standards are addressed with that lesson. Also, you can type the word "Standard" into the box on the "Search" screen to locate all the places in the website where standards are presented.

The Teacher Resources are the lessons, activities, and supplemental information that teachers will find useful for making the most of Team LycopeneLessons and activities in this area are written specifically for teachers, and contain hints and suggestions for ways that teachers can introduce the concepts of lycopene to science, health education, and home economics classes. Educational standards are presented with each lesson, as are "Notes" for teachers that provide suggestions for introducing the lessons to differing grade levels. Where appropriate, scoring rubrics and evaluation suggestions are provided. Hyperlinks to a glossary of terms are also included.

The Student Resources are lessons and activities written specifically for kids. Activities are presented in the form of assignments with challenging questions and hints to help the discovery process. Where appropriate, a "Background Information" link is provided to assist students with necessary information to help them succeed in the activity. The Student Resources area also suggests ways that students can further incorporate lycopene into their daily diets. Hyperlinks to a glossary of terms are also included.

There are lots of ways for parents to get involved with the benefits of lycopene. There is a Parents Resource on the site. Also, from time to time students will bring home assignments that will necessitate parental involvement. As a parent you can find opportunities to participate by typing "Parent" into the text box on the "Search" screen or by using the "Parent’s Place" link. All of the places with parental components will be displayed. Click on any of the hyperlinks to start participating in your child’s lycopene education.

You can find any word on Team Lycopeneby going to the "Search" screen and typing the word you want to find in the text box. All of the places in Team Lycopenethat contain the word you typed will be displayed on the screen. Simply click on the hypertext of the page you want to view to go to that page.

Anytime you want to go to the home page of Team Lycopene simply click on the "Home" button at either the top or the bottom of the screen. You will go automatically to the home page of the website. Another way to "get home" is to click on the Back button of your browser until you return home.

The Guest Book is easy to use and represents an opportunity for you as a user of the site to provide feedback. "Signing" the Guest Book also helps in the understanding of how the site is used, which will lead to advancements and improvements of the site. To "sign" the book, simply click on the "Guest Book" button at the bottom of the screen. You will automatically be taken to the Guest Book. There, simply follow the instructions. Be sure to click on the "Submit" button when you are finished.

The information in the Guest Book is confidential. It will only be viewed by the staff that created and maintains Team Lycopene.

If you click on a link to send an email and get an error message, your computer is not set up to handle Internet email. See a systems administrator or your local computer support staff to help you configure your computer to support Internet email.

If you want to bookmark Team Lycopene it can easily be accomplished. Simply point your mouse at the screen on any Team Lycopene page and right-click. A menu will pop up on your screen.
